The Operating System set by default in the Samsung Q35 is Genuine Windows XP Home edition. The durable battery life of seven hours is an added advantage of the laptop. A system may refuse to turn on due to a number of reasons. Some of them are hardware related whereas some others are software related. It includes boot up failure, insufficient power supply, improper power back up, incompatible hardware attached etc. All of these issues can be rectified in order to turn on the Samsung Q35.
The following explains the various reasons for Samsung Q35 not turning on and the tips to resolve such issues:
- Booting issue
- No power for the devices
- Start up services
If the system boot is improper, the system won’t turn on. Booting will load the hard drive contents on to the Operating System just at the moment when the power enters the SMPS. If the loading takes time, turn on will be delayed. If the software to be loaded on to the system is pirated, it will cause failure to boot up the Samsung Q35.
No power for the devices
The power supply from the mains reaches the SMPS of the Samsung Q35 through the AC adapter. If the power supply is not adequate enough to turn on the devices, system will not start. It is necessary that a portion of the initial supply must reach the memory, keyboard, processor and monitor. If any of these devices of the Samsung Q35 do not receive the power, the system will not turn on.
There is usually a lot of start up services mentioned in the system. Once the system is turned on, the processor waits until it ensures the proper functioning of these services. So it is recommended that minimum number of programs are included in the start up services. Never avoid any Microsoft program from the start up services as it can slow down the system functioning.
