- Keep back of important files
- Disable the external peripherals
Stop all the back ground processes
The back ground running processes in the
system would not allow the un-installation of Windows XP. Those programs might work with the help of the files in the operating system. So the un-installation would prevent them from doing their task. So you need to stop all such back ground running processes before the un-installation process.
Keep back of important files
The un-installation of Windows XP would not preserve the files in the system. The files in the system would be removed
after the un-installation of Windows XP. So the back up of all the system files
is necessary to recover those files after un-installation of Windows XP. The
files could be pasted in to the system after installing any other operating system.
The system might contain some types of
external storage spaces. But during the un-installation process, you need to remove all such external devices such as USB and the CD drives are to be removed from the system to avoid the nterference from these devices.
