Samsung Q1b is an ultra mobile personal computing device from the Samsung Q series. It is highly compact and stylish, merging the features of a laptop, PDA, MP3 player and a GPS module. It runs on the VIA C7- M processor running at 1000 Mhz with a data bus speed of 400 Mhz and 128 kb L2 cache and storage solutions defined with the 40 GB hard disk drive. The device makes use of the Microsoft Windows XP tablet PC edition operating system. The other features include the 7-inch wide screen touch screen display, 512 MB RAM, three cell lithium ion long life battery, wireless LAN and Bluetooth support. Although Samsung Q1b is not preloaded with a DVD drive, an external USB DVD drive can be connected according to the user needs.
