Networking Issues in Samsung® Q1

Verify IP address
If the Internet Protocol (IP) address is not correct, it can lead to networking issues in Samsung Q1 ultra mobile notebook. To verify the IP address, select ‘Control Panel’ from the ‘Start’ menu. Then double click the ‘Network connection’ tab on the ‘Control Panel’. From the scheduled network connections, right click on the network connection icon and then select ‘Status’. From the ‘Local Area Connection Status’ select the ‘Support’ tab and confirm the IP address of the network in Samsung Q1 ultra mobile notebook.
Confirm that TCP/IP is installed
To confirm TCP/IP is installed select ‘Control Panel’ from the ‘Start’ menu. Then in the ‘Control Panel’, double click on the ‘Network Connections’ option. Now you need to right click on the network connections icon from the listed network connections and select ‘Properties’. In ‘Properties’ window under ‘This Connection Uses the Following Items’ click to choose the ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’ to confirm the installation and then click ‘OK’.
Make sure that the cable is good and it is connected properly at the both ends in Samsung Q1 ultra mobile notebook. Examine the light on the back of the system, near the network cable. If there is no light, detach and reconnect the cable. Confirm that the network cables are securely connected to a functioning hub or a router. If the port of the hub or router is bad, try to connect it to a new port.
