Finally Samsung Z1 Tizen Phone Has Been Launched
Samsung, the South Korean electronics giant has bombarded the electronic market in India with its new smartphone, the Samsung Z1. But with the implementation of Tizen in its smartphone, Samsung would reduce its dependence on Google’s Android operating system, which had been powering most of its smartphones and tablets.
The Early Phase
Tizen operating system was first released in early 2012 with much collaborated work from Samsung, Intel, Linux Foundation and Tizen Association. The first product launched Tizen product was Samsung NX300M camera in October 2013. Since then, the electronics giant has been using Tizen operating system on its Gear smartwatches and will also soon launch televisions based on it. Samsung Z was the first Tizen based smartphone but it was never released in the market. Hence Samsung Z1 can be called the first Tizen OS powered smartphone.
