Touchpad in Samsung Go N315®
What are the issues with the touchpad software in Samsung Go N315 netbook?
The Samsung Go N315 netbook could be considered an upgrade to the previous N310 model, and it comes with better features. This new netbook comes with better graphics mainly due to the Intel GMA 1350 and better processor, the Intel Atom N450. Other features include Wi-Fi, a hard-drive of 250GB and a matte LED display screen. A touchpad is a device designed to translate user input in the form of motions intended at moving a cursor to a computer. It works much like a mouse, allowing users to move a cursor to choose items and perform other functions. However, it is designed in a different way. Instead of using sensors and a roller ball or laser like mouse, a touchpad is a soft pad with sensors that react to finger movements on the pad.
Here are the issues that could come in touchpad software in Samsung Go N315 and the tips by which you could resolve them

- Issue with the software
- Check out driver issues
Touchpad sensitivity could be affected by temperature extremes. Tracking movement could be affected by sweat and oil. So you need to make sure your hands and the pad is dirt free and that the netbook isn't overheating. Many touchpads have a physical lock to stop you from interacting with it by accident when you don't want to use it. A slide or a strip just next to the touchpad would indicate its status.
Issue with the software
If the touchpad is still inoperable, it's probably an issue with the software. Restart the netbook into Safe Mode as in the Safe Mode, only the mouse drivers are loaded, and not the mouse management software. So if the mouse is working in ‘Safe Mode,’ you know the problem is with the software and you should uninstall it. Go into ‘Add/Remove Programs’ in the ‘Control Panel’ and uninstall the software from there.
Sometimes the driver might have become corrupt in your Samsung Go N315. Download the driver from your Samsung Go N315 manufacturer's website and then uninstall the current driver by removing it from your ‘Add/Remove Programs’ list. Once it has been uninstalled, install the new download of the driver and restart your Samsung Go N315. Additionally, if you have recently installed a program or attached an external mouse to your Samsung Go N315 netbook, try removing the new hardware and checking to see if your touchpad would work without them.
